This site in Shrewsbury comprised a redundant two storey building previously used as a children’s centre. Located in a principally residential area opposite a primary school and backing onto playing fields, the site is ideally located for new affordable family homes.

The redevelopment of the site will remove the redundant building and provide twelve new affordable family homes with private gardens, sustainable urban drainage and landscaping within this compact site.

Proposals include a fully wheelchair accessible bungalow, designed to achieve compliance with Approved Document M4 (Category 3), adaptable and accessible homes, inclusive of accessible shower room and kitchen with height adjustable work surface.

Planning consent was granted in July 2021, with works on site commencing spring 2022.
