DJD Architects were appointed to develop the technical design for this site of twenty eight houses and bungalows following grant of detailed planning consent. We worked with the Contractor to review the design and propose amendments to improve buildability and make the internal layouts more suited to contemporary living.
The site is located in Leominster, within walking distance of the centre of town. The site is bounded by existing housing and benefits from a number of mature trees and hedgerows helping to give an immediate sense of maturity to the development. The properties are all modern timber frame construction, with a mix of facing brickwork and render.
The twenty eight plots are a mix of three and four bedroom houses and three bedroom bungalows for open market sale and seven, two and three bedroom houses for affordable rent for The Wrekin Housing Group.
