This site in Whittington, near Oswestry, Shropshire has been developed as a rural exception site for 24 no. new houses and bungalows designed to meet the local affordable housing need.
The proposals were developed as a Community Led scheme working with a steering group of local residents and the parish council to develop the mix, design and delivery of the scheme.
The site is on a significant slope and careful design work was required, along with the project engineer, to develop a design that worked with the site and minimised ground works.
Planning consent was granted in July 2021, with works on site commencing spring 2022.
