1-3 College Yard consists of a series of Grade II Listed Georgian townhouses and a three storey mid 20th century building previously converted and connected to provide offices in a prominent location opposite Worcester Cathedral and forms the headquarters of Rabjohns LLP. A programme of refurbishment was required to update the building, improving its functionality, accessibility and enhancing its historic fabric to create a prestigious headquarters for the company.

Infilling a light well provided additional useable space at ground, first and second floors. This is capped with a new glazed roof creating a dramatic, light and airy office space at second floor.
A new glass canopied entrance prominently located off Deansway, provided a convenient, level-access main entrance approached from the city centre.

Interiors have been sensitively brought up to date throughout with original doors, windows, joinery etc. refurbished and upgraded.

We were asked to create a contemporary and stylish new of ce environment for the award winning Worcester based accountancy, business and tax advisory firm, Rabjohns LLP.

We delivered a stunning new office design that complements Rabjohns’ professional image, impresses clients and provides a high quality and adaptive space for the firm’s staff. As well as having a definite “wow” factor, we also incorporated new features, such as a gym, to help the workers look after their health.

Working with the client to understand their business, we were able to create a space that caters to how they function. The space delivers the best mix of open plan and private office space to enable different types of working, highly specified meeting space and a front of house space that sets the right tone with their clients. We achieved all this whilst releasing over 30% of their existing space, allowing them to significantly reduce their overheads.
