HQI Assessment

DJD Construction Consultants provides HQI Assessment consultancy services to both public and private sector clients.

The Housing Quality Indicator system is a measurement and assessment tool designed to allow housing schemes to be evaluated on the basis of quality rather than simply of cost. The HQI assesses the quality of a housing project using three main categories: location, design and performance.

We have experience in advising clients and design teams on achieving better HQI scores, as well as carrying out the assessments. Our early advice allows clients to develop better designs. This is particularly important in affordable housing where funding may be dependant on good HQI scores.
