The scheme was developed in close liaison with the client and local community to ensure that it will deliver what is needed not just in terms of figures, but also the real issues that determine whether the scheme will still be regarded as a success in 20 years time.
The design is subtle and nuanced rather than brash and showy, and draws influence for its palette of materials from surrounding properties. The dominant use of brick and pitched roofs ensures that the scheme sits comfortably in its surroundings, with embellishment through brick detailing ensuring a level of interest in the design that will ensure it is regarded fondly by residents and neighbours for years to come.
